Sea products in Yemen constitute a significant yet underutilized resource base, owing to the country’s extensive coastline of more than 2,000 kilometers along both the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea, including the Gulf of Aden and the waters surrounding Socotra Island. This geographical position provides access to one of the richest marine biodiversity zones in the region.
